Film Synopsis: In 1980s Ibadan, Odun, a wealthy and lonely farmer with no surviving family except for his late brother’s widow, Morenike, and her son Femi, chooses to marry Funmi, a young woman from a nearby village. The marriage, arranged by Funmi’s mother, Tundun, leaves Funmi filled with sorrow and resentment toward her husband, as she had no voice in the matter, despite being intended to bring Odun comfort and happiness in his old age.
